Through interdisciplinary perspectives (i.e. from air, water, biology, etc), students will learn about the diverse biological and ecological consequences of climate change, as well as its profound effects on human life and communities worldwide. The program will analyze various solutions and strategies aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate change, including the adoption of green development models and the implementation of circular economy principles. Additionally, students will explore the crucial roles of regional and global cooperation in addressing climate challenges effectively. Moreover, special emphasis will be placed on the pivotal role of youth in driving positive change, both in preventing further climate disruption and in responding to its existing impacts. Through case studies, discussions, and collaborative projects, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of climate change and develop the skills necessary to actively engage in climate action.
